Experience. Integrity. Intuition.
We've spent our careers finding great stories and now we're telling yours.
Former CBS reporter and anchor in local and national broadcasts, with 18 years experience in broadcast journalism. Her most recent television news work was at CBS in Los Angeles where she became known for her on-the-scene work in breaking news situations and for her feature and exclusive stories. Before moving home to Los Angeles she developed a technology franchise in Philadelphia in which many of her stories were shared nationally.
Following her work in television Abrams spearheaded the first social media outreach and team development for the Los Angeles Unified School District. As the second largest school district in the country she was responsible for communicating district news to 65,000 employees and nearly one million students and their families. She became known for bridging the gap between hundreds of offices and stakeholders within the LAUSD by building and training a team across the District committed to transparency and engagement through various social media sites. She also developed a weekly news update broadcast on YouTube and PBS called @LASchools.
She now runs her own PR firm as a way to find and share inspiring stories she finds within the Los Angeles area. She seeks out corporations with a calling to serve the community, and has a dedicated division for charities and nonprofits. She calls it Give Back PR because after so many years covering hard and breaking news, this is her way of giving back more positive news to the media and community.
